Can’t log in to your OpenStax account?

If you're unable to log in to your account on OpenStax.org, locate the login issue below and follow the instructions to regain access to your account. This article covers:

I forgot my password
         
          1. Go to OpenStax.org and click "Log in" in the top right corner to return to the login screen.

2. On the "Log In" tab, click the "Forgot your password" link at the bottom of the form.


  

3. Enter the email connected to your OpenStax account to receive a password reset email.

                

I usually log in with Facebook. How do I log in?

1. Return to the OpenStax login screen. To do this, go to openstax.org and click "Login" in the top right corner. 

2. Click the Facebook logo, and you will be logged in.

3. If you cannot log in, please email support@openstax.org and include your full name in your message. We will get back to you within one business day.

I usually log in with Google. How do I log in?

1. Return to the OpenStax login screen. To do this, go to openstax.org and click "Login" in the top right corner. Click the Google logo, and you will be logged in.

2. If you still need help logging in, please email support@openstax.org and include your full name in your message. We will get back to you within one business day.

​​I forgot my username or the email address I used to log in.

1. Return to the OpenStax login screen. To do this, go to openstax.org and click "Login" in the top right corner.

2. Type in any email addresses you might have used to create your OpenStax account and the password connected to your account. Please note that if you created an account before January 7, 2017, you may also type in any account usernames you might have created.

3. If you still need help logging in, please email support@openstax.org and include your full name in your message. We will get back to you within one business day.
