How do I report a content issue in an OpenStax Assignable question or content?

Submit an errata report

OpenStax Assignable customers can report content issues using the OpenStax errata submission process directly from Assignable.

  1. Click on the exclamation point in the triangle in the upper left corner. This will take you to the errata submission form.

  2. Complete the form and click the Submit button.

If you'd like to add a screenshot or any other file explaining the error to your submission, click the Add file button.

Include the exercise ID

When reporting an OpenStax Assignable-specific question, it's critical to include the exercise ID displayed on each question's screen so our team can identify and correct the source content.

Review process

While our content team reviews the reports weekly, we send all suggested corrections to our subject matter experts for review to maintain our editorial and peer-review standards. Once the experts weigh in, we update the book's online view, typically twice per year.
