Reporting typos/errata found in OpenStax texts

To suggest a correction to an OpenStax book:

1. Log in to your OpenStax account on openstax.org/subjects. 

2. Select the category for your textbook on the Subjects page. In the example below, we using the OpenStax College Success book.

3. On the category page, click on the book’s cover or title. This will take you to the book's details page, where you can suggest a correction.

4. On the book's Details page, scroll down to the Errata section and click the Suggest a Correction button.

4. Complete the form and click on the Submit button. If you'd like to add a screenshot or any other file explaining the error to your submission, click the Add file button.

Errata Correction Schedule
Our errata tool keeps you updated by emailing you each step of the way after you submit an errata suggestion. To maintain our editorial and peer-review standards, we send errata reports to qualified subject matter experts for review. 

Errata received from March through October will be fixed in the online format for the spring semester. Errata received from November through February will be fixed in the online format for the fall semester.

PDF versions of OpenStax textbooks are only updated once a year, before the fall semester, if there are substantial errata updates to the book that year.

Errata process for Polish titles
If you would like to submit a correction for Fizyka dla szkół wyższych Tom 1-3, Psychologia, Mikroekonomia or Makroekonomia, please fill out the errata form on openstax.pl/errata. Once you complete the form and submit it, OpenStax Poland will review your correction. Feel free to reach out to their team at kontakt@openstax.pl. 


Errata process for Spanish titles
If you would like to submit a correction for Cálculo volumen 1-3, Física universitaria volumen 1-3, Introducción a la estadística, Introducción a la estadística empresarial, Precálculo 2ed, Química 2ed, Química: Comenzando con los átomos 2ed, please email us with your correction at espanol@openstax.org.
