What happens after I submit an errata request?

After you submit an errata request through the errata tool, it goes through the following process. You’ll receive email updates as your submission moves through review, keeping you informed at each stage. Your errata request will also appear in the Errata List on the book’s details page under the Errata section.

From there, you can view all errata submissions and filter them by status, including view all, in review, and reviewed and corrected.

Review process

To maintain our editorial standards, all errata requests are reviewed by qualified subject matter experts. Once the experts provide their feedback, approved changes are implemented in the online version of the book as quickly as possible.

Updated PDFs

For most titles, we publish updated PDFs that include errata corrections over the summer. For older books, where the number of changes is typically smaller, updated PDFs may not be released every year.
