Creative Commons is a set of copyright licenses that allow others to use and share creative works. OpenStax publishes books under the CC BY NC SA license. This license allows you to use, adapt, and remix our materials as long as you provide proper attribution to OpenStax, share any adaptations under the same license, and do not use the materials for commercial purposes. Many educational uses, such as classroom instruction, coursework, and other teaching and learning activities, are typically considered noncommercial.
