Why Third-Party Cookies Are Required

Third-party cookies are required for the LTI integration that allows OpenStax Assignable to function within your Learning Management System (LMS). To learn more about how we handle data, please review the OpenStax Privacy Notice. If you are experiencing access issues, you may need to enable third-party cookies in your browser. Follow the instructions below for your specific browser.

Enable Third-Party Cookies in Google Chrome

  1. Open Chrome on your computer.

  2. Click the three-dot menu in the top right corner and select Settings.

  3. Select Privacy and security from the left-hand menu.

  4. Click Cookies and other site data.

  5. Make sure Block third-party cookies is not selected.

Enable Third-Party Cookies in Safari

  1. Open Safari on your computer.

  2. In the menu bar, click Safari > Settings (or Safari > Preferences, depending on your version).

  3. Select the Privacy tab.

  4. Deselect Block all cookies.

  5. Deselect Prevent cross-site tracking.

Enable Third-Party Cookies in Firefox

  1. Open Firefox on your computer.

  2. In the menu bar, click Firefox and select Settings (or Preferences).

  3. Select Privacy & Security.

  4. Under Enhanced Tracking Protection, choose Standard (the default setting that allows cookies).

  5. If you select Custom, ensure that Cookies is not checked, so all cookies are allowed.
