Troubleshooting Tips

Here are some troubleshooting tips to try when you are having trouble accessing your textbook or resources:

  1. Log out of OpenStax.org and then log back in again. If you access your textbook through an LMS (such as Canvas, Blackboard, D2L, Moodle, etc.), please log out of it also. 
  2. Close all of your OpenStax browser tabs and then try loading your book again.
  3. Try refreshing the page or clearing your browser history.
  4. Try an alternate browser; we recommend Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. Please note that you may receive an error message if you have an out-of-date version of your browser or an unsupported browser like Internet Explorer.
  5. If you receive a network connection error, check your router and network settings, and if possible, try another device or a different location.
