Directing students to their online textbook

To facilitate access to your course's OpenStax textbook, we recommend you include a direct link to the Book details page for your students. Please let them know that the online and PDF versions of the textbook are always free.

Get The Book

The image below displays the College Success Book details page, which features links to all available formats under the 'Get the book' heading. These options allow students to choose the format that best suits their needs. Moreover, this page ensures students can access the latest textbook versions, eliminating instructors needing to update links each semester.

Locating your Book's unique URL

Select the category for your textbook on the Subjects page on openstax.org. Locate the book you wish to use on the Categories page and click on the textbook's cover or title. This will take you to its Details page, where you can copy the unique URL.

 
We recommend that you save the book's details page URL for your bookmarks for future reference.
