Errata correction process

How OpenStax Reviews and Publishes Errata

All suggested corrections (errata) submitted by our users are sent to subject matter experts for review to maintain our editorial and peer-review standards. Once the experts weigh in, we will implement changes in the textbook's online version twice a year at the end of the semester. We update the PDF and print formats over the summer when substantial changes are present. As errata updates can sometimes change page numbers, table layouts, and more, we are careful to release the updates once a year to ensure user access to the material and to save students money on print costs.
