How do I set up assignments, quizzes, tests, etc.?
Currently, OpenStax Assignable only supports pre-configured assessments based on assigned content. Instructors cannot individually select which questions they want to be included in an assignment. Instructors select which chapters/sections of a book they want to assign students, and then choose to assign questions/other activities that test concepts in those sections/chapters - at which point Assignable generates a pre-configured assessment.

How do I edit content in an existing assignment?
To edit an existing assignment, navigate to the list of your assignments for your course in your LMS and click on the assignment title. You will then have options to edit the existing assignment.
Will there be a student view available in Assignable?
Instructors can view the assignment as a student after the assignment is created. At this time student preview before the assignment is created is not supported.
Can a student redo an assignment?
This depends on the settings selected in your LMS. Some possible approaches include:

Duplicating the assignment and limiting the access to that new duplicate assignment to only the student(s) that are redoing the assignment

Overriding the grade in the LMS gradebook

In the Assignable assignment settings, select "enable multiple quiz attempts" as shown in the screenshot below.
How can I extend a due date?
This can be done via your LMS.
How can I export scores (total score, assignment scores, and individual question scores)?
All of these actions can be completed in the LMS gradebook.
How do I add a co-teacher?
This depends on the settings selected in your LMS. To access assignment authoring, users must be assigned as course instructors in the LMS settings.
Can you delete an assignment/course?
Yes, via your LMS settings.
Will Assignable have a performance insights feature?
This is not currently available. In future iterations, based on instructor feedback, Assignable will offer performance insight features to help both instructors and students identify areas for improvement and suggest interventions to improve learning outcomes.
